About Us
Hulhumale’ Hospital, established on April 7th, 2004, initially focused on outpatient services, expanding to 24-hour service in early 2005. With Hulhumale's population growth, the demand for healthcare surged. Over the years, the hospital significantly expanded its services to meet community needs. In 2010, it became part of the Male’ Health Services Corporation (MHSC), returning to Ministry of Health oversight in 2012. In September 2015, it joined IGMH's governing board. From February 29th, 2016, until December 31st, 2019, Aasandha Company Ltd managed the hospital. Since January 1st, 2020, it operates under the 'Male’ Hospitals Board of Trustees.' With over 16 years of experience, Hulhumale’ Hospital is renowned for quality healthcare, staffed by compassionate professionals. November 2023 marked a significant transition with governance under Male’ City group of Hospitals, directed by the Ministry of Health Maldives. Despite changes, 2023 witnessed service expansion, reflecting the hospital's commitment to comprehensive and inclusive care nationwide. Further expansion is planned, aligned with the hospital's strategic action plan, aiming to create a world-class health system alongside healthcare partners and the government. Throughout, the hospital remains dedicated to enriching lives through excellence in healthcare services.
